Reparation : The action of making amends for a wrong one has done, by providing payment or other assistance to those who have been wronged. In March 2023 the Church Commissioners Office announced that the Church of England is offering a small payout in recognition of its involvement in ‘African Chattel Enslavement’ but it seems this payout is delayed due to bureaucratic processes, policies and procedures.
